The AirPods Pro are so magical that they make the noise from the outside disappear, to focus on your music. If you already have it, you know that an indescribable feeling. What you may not have known is that AirPods Pro can be configured. Do you want to know everything you can change? Let's go!
Set up AirPods Pro step by step
AirPods Pro responds when you press on one of its long parts. For example: to accept a call, press once on any of the AirPods Pro to accept it. These actions come by default and can be changed and configured.
To set up AirPods Pro, you first need them to be attached to your ears. In addition, to use the iPhone or iPad with which you have it linked. Once with them on, you just have to follow the following steps:
1. Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Go to the Bluetooth section.
3. Press the "i" for information, you will find it on the right of your AirPods.
4. You are already in the configuration of the AirPods. Now it's your turn to customize them as you like!
What settings can be changed? Everything you will find in configuring your AirPods Pro
Press AirPods Pro twice
When you are in the settings of your AirPods Pro, you can change the actions they do by double-clicking on the long part of your AirPods Pro. You can choose what each one does separately, between these two options: Talk to Siri or enable and disable noise cancellation.
Automatic detection of your AirPods Pro and microphone
There are two additional settings in the configuration of the AirPods Pro that we recommend leaving as-is from the factory:
- Automatic detection: If enabled, AirPods Pro will know when you wear them on your ears. So when you take one off the music will pause, and when you put them back on it will resume.
- Microphone: You can choose to automatically assign the microphone that will capture your voice. Or, however, always pick up the voice on the left or right side. It is recommended that it be in automatic. So, if you ever only use the left one, and you have the microphone set up on the right, it won't pick up your voice. Therefore, you would not be able to answer the call or make requests to Siri.
Configure your AirPods Pro to make them more comfortable
Within the AirPods Pro setup, you'll find a section called the Pad Fit Test. When you press there, your AirPods Pro will test your ears. Behind it, you will know if you need a bigger or smaller pad. A very simple adjustment, and at the same time, it will make your AirPods Pro much more comfortable.
